Economic & Ecological Issues with Genetically Engineered Crops

GE.pngJoin us for this informative panel to discuss genetically engineered crops and the Family Farms Measure (115-119) which will come before Jackson County voters in May. Chris Hardy, a local seed producer will provide the background that lead up to the ordinance. Dr. Ray Seidler will present the scientific perspective, covering terms and definitions, what happens in the laboratory to create genetically engineered crops, and what are the problematic ecological farm management issues. Brian Comnes will review details of the Family Farms Measure. Chris will also provide a wrap-up and will moderate the discussion.
