Give to shelter the farmworker families who grow our food
Southern Oregon was devastated by unprecedented wildfires on September 8, 2020. The Almeda and Obenchain Fires turned thousands of homes to piles of ash. The need for help to get our agricultural workers rehoused has been overwhelming.
With the outpouring of support of generous donors from around southern Oregon and around the world, we have raised over $347,000. We awarded 47 seed grants in 2020 to farmworker families to secure immediate housing needs.
The remainder of the funds have been reserved to support a long term, sustainable, affordable housing for farmworkers in the Rogue Valley. We are engaging and investigating with other community organizations to create a solution. Your donation will support these efforts.
