Nick Routledge
Nick has spent the best part of the last three decades endeavoring to wed a broad array of visionary agro-ecological initiatives to avant-garde social service projects in functional combinations that ‘click!’ Where he began orchestrating co-ordinated, collaborative, community-based seed-saving projects with the Food Not Lawns avant-gardening collective in Eugene, OR, in the late 1990’s, he now manages the Agrarian Sharing Network’s Seed Increase Initiative (ASNSII). Though ASNSII’s current network of volunteer-growers crosses borders and takes in a broad diversity of crop types throughout western and southern Oregon. All seed is distributed freely, typically through ASN’s network of community-led, pan-bioregional propagation fairs, and seed libraries. |
